Weapon:

Pakka - a wooden boomerang with a simple etched and crimson-dyed design along each end. Strands of dry vines are wrapped around each side for easy grip. Once thrown it is fast and silent, and is most effective when targeting weak joints or the neck.

Skill:

Pakka Pa - Once thrown, Fennel can activate his boomerang's hidden spore releasing ability, that can temporarily paralyze a target upon contact. It is less effective if the boomerang misses, but is close enough that the spores reach the target through the air.

Personality:

Fennel is filled with endless curiosity, always wandering about to the point where he gets lost and has trouble finding his way home. Unless he is already aware of certain danger, Fennel will analyze the object of his curiosity until it shows signs of hostility or an otherwise undesirable reaction. He has a tendency to touch anything he can get his hands on in order to examine it, often leading to annoyed creatures or sprites. Once he is in the presence of sprites he does not know, depending on the circumstances his reactions vary from retaining his usual curiosity or becoming shy and introverted. When in a shy mood, Fennel will either hide behind objects or cling to friends for safety. His curiosity still remains, though his willingness to explore diminishes.

He is extremely naive, gullible, optimistic, playful, and loyal to those to show him kindness and hospitality. He will often follow sprites around once he deems them non-threatening, and enjoys lending a hand if needed. He's still quite simpleminded and usually responds well to a reward in exchange for his services, regardless of what task he is given to do that other sprites would not do in exchange for a small snack or petting.

Additional Info:

- he loves to collect whirlybird seeds
- Pakka is the sound his boomerang makes when it hits something, thus why Fennel named it so
- he often likes to dash off high tree branches and use his leafy cape to slow his descent like a parachute
- when he sleeps he curls up into a ball so his tail can cover him like a blanket
- Fennel loves to climb, and often does so as a way to relieve any boredom
- he cleans his tail regularly, and is proud of its fluffiness
- he can't swim, though he often forgets and wanders into deep water anyways
- Fennel likes to play hide and seek in leaf piles, or just roll around in them
- his favorite food is blueberries
- his tail twitches when he's excited
- Fennel is afraid of the dark, so he is reluctant to explore at night or in dark caves
