Locke battling Pek in the Trial of the Sandstorms, showing intensity in battle with his Lopunny who's ferocity can't be beat. Locke is trying to prove that you can win any battle, even with the odds against you, if your will is strong.

So as his finishing move he commands Lopunny to send a powerful Fire Punch attack Vemma's way, despite the obvious type disadvantage.
