Ugh, finally it is COMPLETE. D:

He's Waka (Ushiwaka) from the video game Okami. This took me quite a while to finish. It was supposed to be a simple piece of fan art that someone in the animation arts centre wanted me to draw for them, but then I just HAD to shoop-da-whoop all over it. :lmao:

This was done completely on photoshop, and I used a lot of fancy filters...oh those silly filters. For the first time, I also discovered how kickass the dodge tool was. It makes everything so SHINEEEYYYYYY!

I would also like to thank :iconvalynia: for the awesome ripple effect tutorial she made as well. That really helped me turn my crappy lake water into some spiffy H2O. Too bad it couldn't save my trees from looking like rainbow-doodoo. XD

I'm also putting my subby to good use and slapping a watermark on this one for once, I don't appreciate it when my art gets stuck in some crappy youtube slideshow with befittingly crappy music attached to it.

*EDIT* I decided to remove the watermark on this for the sake of fixing the resolution. You still need to ask me permission to use this picture though. It would be nice to know where my art is gonna go.

This is the best!! So awesome! Even tho he was kinda annoying in the game he is totally cool in your pic!
Sorry i cant give much of a critique since i see hardly no flaws in this...I really do think it's a very well done picture.^-^

I'm glad you like it! And yeah, Waka's random French accent is rather annoying at times, but to me his general coolness outweighs his flaws. :)

Also, the first part of your sig made me laugh. I should say that to someone one day! XD
