Pokemon Trainer Locke

This is Locke, a pokemon trainer I made to represent myself in 's pokemon OCT. And I'm crazy for joining in the first place, considering how busy I am but OH WELL.

He's 17 years old, and has learned a lot since the start of his journey with a Riolu he befriended when he was little. He grew up in Canalave City, his hometown and enjoys the fresh air and open sea, often laying about at the docks just to listen to the waves with his Riolu.

Locke is usually very kind and quick to trust others, often making him naive, so his Riolu (now a Lucario) will judge people for him and warn him if someone should not be trusted. While Locke has no interest in women and is often oblivious to any affection from them, he tends to get really uncomfortable around the more busty ones. When around these kinds of women Locke becomes very shy and withdrawn, with a tendency to address them as "mam" and "miss".

He used to live with his grandmother when he was younger, and she taught him how to sew, since he would always come home with his clothes in tatters. Locke had always wanted to become a pokemon trainer when he was young. He admired the Canalave City gym leader Byron, and often hung out with him to learn a thing or two about pokemon. When he turned 10, he was ready to become a trainer but he had to stay and take care of his grandmother. When Locke was 12, his grandmother became ill and died a year later, leaving Locke with his Lucario.

It wasn't soon after that he decided to start a journey of his own, since he always admired the trainers that went through his town with all sorts of new and exciting kinds of pokemon.

While training his pokemon, he tries to avoid using items as he trusts that he and his pokemon can win any battle if they put their heart into it and use their own strength. His pokemon feel the same way, and would only accept a potion after a battle.

His battle strategy consists of using unusual attacks with each pokemon to try to throw off his opponent. Locke puts on a rather serious face in battle and becomes very calculating, scanning the area and every action made for opportunities. Each of Locke's pokemon have attacks with different elements to give them the upper hand against many different types of opponents.
